Pittosporum eugenioides/Lemonwood

Though not strictly eaten, the lemony scented resin was traditionally chewed as gum.
Tarata or Pittosporum eugenioides, is also known as lemonwood, because of the delightful citrus scent emanating from its crushed leaves. Its bright variegated leaves always attract my eye on my daily walk, appearing to swim on the asphalt under my feet.\

The individually signed giclee print is taken from an original watercolour painting by Jennifer Duval-Smith. The image is printed with HDR Ultra Chrome lightfast inks on gorgeous 100% cotton archival quality 310gsm weight paper. It is acid free, lignin free It will arrive flat in a cellophane sleeve, lovingly protected and backed with stiff cardboard.
